All reviews are published after careful check for authenticity
How do reviews get on Trust n Review?
Reviews on Trust n Review are written by users worldwide. Anyone who has had a coaching, academic tutor, teacher, personal trainer or engagement with an expert in the past 12 months can write a review,
free of charge, as long as they have a Trust n Review user account, follow our Review Guidelines, and don’t have a conflict of interest with the expert/educator/academy they're reviewing. A user account must be linked to a mobile number or email address to confirm authenticity of user who write reviews.
All reviews about a expert/educator/academy are displayed on their profile page. This is where learners can read and write reviews, and find other relevant information about the expert, such as the overall
rating.
A Trust n Review can start in two ways:
Expert / Academy / Educator / Coach / Professional
Experts/Educators /Professionals can invite their clients to review using our platform free of charge. They must make sure there is no bass in the way they ask their clients to review them, and they are not allowed to offer any payment reward for a review.
Learners / Achievers
Learners who have had experience with a Expert / academy / educator / coach / professional can make a Trust n Review account and write a review. We call those “Achievers Experience Reviews.”
We play fair and square
We kicked off Trust n Review in 2023 as a cool spot where learning enthusiast and experts in their fields can come together, chat, and help each other out.
Everyone gets to write a review. That means Educators can’t cherry-pick or change what users write about them. It’s different from some other websites where Educators might only show the good stuff and hide any negatives.
But at Trust n Review, we play fair. We put up all the reviews after making sure they’re legit. We’re all about keeping things real and friendly!
Reviews belong to you, achiever!
Think of reviews like a story you’ve written. You’re the author and only you can change it or decide to take it off. You can do this from your account.
Unless you choose to get rid of your review, we’ll keep it for as long as you have your Trust n Review account.
If you decide to close your account, your reviews will disappear forever too. You can find all this info in our Privacy Policy under ‘How long do we keep your personal stuff?’
Tackling fake reviews
Every review on Trust n Review undergoes an advanced screening process conducted by our automated fraud detection system. This system utilizes multiple data points such as user locations, device information, and timing of the review to identify and eliminate fraudulent activity.
When our system detects an apparently fraudulent review, we temporarily remove it from our site and notify the author via email (except in cases where the review is clearly promotional). This allows the author an opportunity to rectify potential inaccuracies.
However, if the evidence overwhelmingly suggests that the review is fraudulent, we maintain its removal to uphold the integrity of our platform.
Addressing flagged reviews
Our commitment to openness extends to allowing both Learners and Educators the chance to flag a review if it breaches our guidelines. Our Content Integrity Team evaluates each flagged review, and takes action if it is found to contravene the rules. Flagged reviews remain visible during the investigation, with the exception of content flagged as “harmful or illegal”, which is concealed for public safety and regulatory compliance.
We strictly enforce that flagging negative reviews for the sake of it is against our guidelines. Educators who misuse the flagging feature undermine the credibility of our platform, and we take this transgression very seriously.
